Tandoori lamb and green pepper skewers

When you fancy a curry but not the calories, this is a great alternativ­e

● 400g lean lamb leg steaks, cubed

● 3tbsp tandoori curry paste

● 2tbsp natural yogurt

● Juice of ½ lemon

● 1 green pepper, deseeded and cut into chunks

● Lemon wedges and fresh mint, to garnish

1 Put the lamb in a bowl, add the curry paste yogurt and lemon juice, and mix to coat the lamb.

2 Thread pieces of lamb and green pepper alternatel­y onto skewers. Cook in a griddle pan or under a hot grill for 10-15 mins, turning from time to time, until the lamb is cooked and the pepper tender. Serve with lemon wedges and fresh mint.
