We’ve only met four times

My boyfriend lives five hours away – we met each other online and have seen each other four times since November.

His family are saying he can’t come and see me because they don’t like me, even though they’ve never met me.

His family have also given me grief online. I just don’t know what to do.

Are you sure he’s really your boyfriend, my love? After all, you’ve only met him a handful of times. He’s basically a stranger. Ask yourself, is he really worth all this grief?

You need a man who’s not tied to mummy’s apron strings and lives closer to you. A decent fella who can take you out for nice lunches and trips to the cinema.

Doesn’t that sound better than what you have now?
