Scared to try online dating

QI’m newly divorced and I’d like to start dating. I’ve considered signing up to a dating app, but I have some doubts.

I’m not sure if it’s better to try and meet someone organically, in the real world.

Will apps zap the romance out of it all?

AHow else do you meet people nowadays but online? You’ll get chilly waiting for Mr Right to pop up in the freezer section of the supermarket! So give the apps a go.

If you can afford it, join one with a small fee, where potential dates are more likely to be looking for genuine love.

There are horror stories so keep your head screwed on but there are plenty of love stories from folk who met online, too.
