It was a day filled with emotion when Jodie and Liam married at Wrenbury Hall in Nantwich
LOOKING FOR our venue was difficult initially. We knew what we wanted but after visiting places we thought we’d really like, we struggled. The day we came across Wrenbury, we’d visited another couple of venues. We very nearly didn’t make it to Wrenbury, as Liam put the wrong postcode in and we ended up at a haulage yard.
At this point, I was pretty annoyed and getting tired from all the travelling but Liam insisted we go to Wrenbury. Eventually, we pulled into the driveway and we got that feeling – we knew we’d found our perfect venue. The family there has put such an amazing modern twist on an old building – you honestly have to see it...
The nerves kicked in when the time came to walk down the aisle and during the ceremony, Liam was very emotional.
Arriving to our wedding breakfast, we were blown away with how the orangery was dressed and all our guests commented on how good the food was.
Our evening entertainment was organised by Hipswing, who also created the amazing reveal of the lights, fairylight canopy, disco ball and the LED dancefloor. They secured us the most amazing DJ, who was very accommodating during the evening and kept the dancefloor full.
As well as this, Liam surprised me with a saxophonist, who put us in the party mood as soon as the first dance ended. This was such a special moment, as Liam made these arrangements to surprise me on the day. My reaction in the videos of this moment that our friends and family have shared with us, is just priceless – he did good!
HOW THEY DID IT
We left our flowers to our florist and they were amazing. She used very light-coloured flowers and made a beautiful bouquet with white roses.
In the day, we kept our guests entertained by hiring the amazing Cody Pennington and his band, who played throughout the afternoon, performing songs we selected and some of his favourite covers. We had a bouncy castle for the children and the big kids of the wedding party.
My dress was designed by Alessandra Rinaudo. I bought it from the first bridal shop we visited and it was the third one I tried on. It was everything that I imagined, from the design to the intricate detail in the train.
