Tektura wallcoverings has announced a new collaboration with internationally renowned artist Kata Lips, who takes her inspiration from Japanese art. She pours oils, water and paints onto her canvases, then tilts and lifts the screens allowing the colours to flow naturally. Zen-like landscapes emerge, as colours bleed and diffuse. Structural shapes are then painted by hand, creating abstract silhouettes, branches and trees. Tektura have translated two of her creations into wallcoverings, Shinrin and Kigi, in 25 colourways. Wallcoverings can be supplied on a wide variety of base textures including silks, grasscloths, stone, canvas and metallic effects.
