Realistically, how quickly can I shed two stone?
Eating the right food and undertaking cardio exercise will help you shed weight, says Cheshire Life’s resident PT, Dominic Boyd. It’s great to have a goal like losing two stone, but also set yourself shortterm goals, as it may take several months. Eat protein-rich foods that fill you up and keep you satisfied for longer in all your meals, particularly at breakfast. Undertake exercise such as HIIT (high intensity interval training) as well as weight training. This promotes muscle growth as well as increasing the body’s metabolic rate. The more muscle, the more calories the body burns, so it’s good for losing weight.
