CHRISTINE’S TOP TEN FASHION TIPS

Cheshire Life - - Sustainable Fashion -

Go for quality not quantity. If you wouldn’t pay full price for an item then it’s never a bargain just because it’s cheaper.

Invest in classic pieces such as blazers, coats, white shirts and a quality pair of jeans.

Don’t fall into a fashion rut. Unless you actually like having a uniform.

Accessorise. I’m big on scarves and classic pieces of jewellery that really change an outfit or add a splash of colour.

A coat is as important as the outfit underneath. I have a large and varied collection of coats.

Shoes. You can never have enough as they change an outfit in a flash.

If you spot something you love in a dress agency don’t hesitate, because when it’s gone, it’s gone. We stand by our saying: buy now or cry later. You can always sell it if you change your mind.

Dress for your age – but never let it hinder your style. It’s about looking chic whatever the weather or event. I’m over 50 and feel as adventurous as ever.

Get grooming. Don’t forget hair, face and nails. Make time to finesse your whole look.
