Boutique Hotel

Chic & Country - - Season -

Ett Hem is a townhouse in a corner of Östermalm, Stockholm which has been renovated into a warm and stylish 12-room ‘hotel’. The clue is in its name, which is Swedish for ‘a home’, and so it won’t surprise you to learn that it feels more that you are a guest in someone’s house, and you are encouraged to meet the other guests around the communal table, have a quick drink at the honesty bar or a chat in the hygge-inspired sitting areas in front of wood-burner stoves (your bedrooms have real fires…).

If you fancy a midnight snack, no problem, because kitchen (and gym…) are open around the clock. If there’s anything that takes you away from the ‘home’ concept, it is the arresting interior design which draws out all that Swedish design is known for – the colours, the chandeliers and the warm furnishings. You will have an authentic and memorable stay and feel as though you are part of the family – and probably will wish you could have your room back …
