A privilege to be trusted to educate

-

Bosco Teaching School Alliance is based at Saint Philip Howard

Catholic School in Barnham. Our ethos as a National Teaching School is ‘getting better never stops’!

We aim to live out this ethos in our collaborative work with over 20 local primary schools, secondary schools and universities in our alliance.

The three main areas of work in our partnership include: recruiting and training teachers of the future, the delivery of over 15 career professional and leadership development courses and offering school-to-school support.

Examples of our development opportunities include: helping newly and recently qualified teachers to thrive in the class room, leadership courses for both primary and secondary teachers, opportunities to share good practice in our Teach Meets, subject network meetings and action-based research.

It is an enormous privilege and tremendous responsibility to be trusted with the education of young people.

We embrace this together, learning from one another and aiming to inspire the next generation. If you have ever thought about teaching or working in a school environment, do get in touch with our Teaching School Co-ordinator, Graham Jones, at gjones@boscocet.org.uk or telephone 01243 558246.
