Education Secretary’s lecture: Education Secretary Damian Hinds MP (pictured ) will be giving this year’s spring lecture for Petworth Area Churches Together. He will be speaking on the subject of ‘Developing Character through Education’. The lecture will be on Friday, April 5, at 6pm at St Mary’s Church, Petworth and will be chaired by the Bishop of Horsham. All are welcome, especially school governors, headteachers and teachers; no booking is necessary and entry is free. ‘Ex voto’ photographic exhibition: Chichester Cathedral is currently hosting an exhibition of work by Alys Tomlinson, the 2018 Sony World Photographer of the Year. The exhibition, which runs until April 23, is a study of offerings of religious devotion to be found at Christian pilgrimage sites from across the world.
The photographs have been taken at the pilgrimage sites of Lourdes, France, Ballyvourney, Ireland and Grabarka, Poland.
