Young Dragonflyers stars are impressing

Dragonflyers Trampoline Club have been presented with a cheque from Arun Gymnastics Club fundraising committee. Dragonflyers have recently qualified 13 of their 18 national development performers to regional finals.

A remarkable achievement when you consider the majority are not only very young but also in their first Year of competition, proving the team has strength in depth thanks to the commitment of the club’s dedicated coaching team, helpers and officials plus the enthusiasm and work ethic of the trampolinists.

Qualifiers are: Izzy Hauxwell, Rosie Budge, William foden, Daniel Boon, Zoe maskell, Finlay Russell, Jorja Riley, Paige Arnold, Lucas Bailey, Jasmine Sore, Kira Weed, Kiera Anne Mariner, Olivia Cogger.

National performers libby Morton and Sofija Kalnicenko (not trying out for regional team places) joined their mums and Hollie Budge (recorder) on the judging panels at the Eastleigh event having recently qualified along side Lucy Hijmans (also for fitting her regional spot) as club judges. Medalists at series two were: Silver manon Bailey Rosie Budge. ndp 5, Lucas Bailey ndp 3 bronze ndp 6 Izzy Hauxwell having scored her first 9 and Daniel Boon ndp 2.

Hauxwell and Budge will join Hijmans, Kalnicenko and Morton in focusing on the national season ahead.
