Small comfort from Brexit

-

The only comfort I take from the last few months of ‘Brexit’ is that the Observer editorial team, in my opinion, have printed an even balance of leave and remain letters unlike the MSM, especially the BBC which has been blatantly left wing ‘Remain’.

Since the Government relinquished responsibility for the BBC what semblance of impartiality there was, has completely vanished.

Watch out for you

‘retirees’, licence fees will be reintroduced.

I have thought that conspirator theories were amusing and trivial and to be taken with a pinch of salt.

However, the antics of the Prime Minister these last few weeks leave me with no other conclusion that she did indeed follow an EU package as to how to thwart Brexit.

A very interesting paper to that effect appeared on The Bruges Group website but now, surprise, surprise has vanished.

The paper showed that an ‘agreement’ was devised which was so couched in a way to ‘appease’ the Brexit voters but at the same time to hinder any smooth withdrawal from the EU.

Theory of Fact? Last week’s Parliamentary antics lead me to one conclusion.

Maybe the local Conservative Association might want to arrange an open evening so we could have a chat with our MP. JOHN HUTCHINGS New Park Road Chichester
