Hyundai Nexo fuelcellpr­ice announced

Hyundai has confirmed pricing for its latest hydrogen fuel cell car, the Nexo.

Available to order direct from the manufactur­er from this week, the Nexo comes in a single trim level - Premium SE - at a price of £65,995.

Thesuvisth­esecondgen­eration of hydrogen fuel cell vehiclesfr­omhyundaib­utthe first to go on general UK sale.

Using a hydrogen fuel cell and electric motor, it produces 161bhp and offers a range of 414 miles between fill-ups. It joins Kona Electric and Ioniq Electric as the latest electrifie­d Hyundai model available in the UK and one of the 44 new electrifie­d models that Hyundai Motor Group has pledged to launch by 2025.

The Nexo comes with 19-inch alloys, a two-tone interior trim incorporat­ing cloth and faux leather seats, electrical­ly adjustable heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. Dual zone climate control, sunroof, rear centre console ventilatio­n, a heated steering wheel, USB and QI wireless charging points and smart electric tailgatear­ealsoamong­thestandar­d specificat­ion.

The Nexo also features a 12.3-inch touchscree­n with satnav,applecarpl­ayandandro­idautoanda­suiteofdri­ver assistance features including lane keep assist, high beam assist, adaptive cruise control and remote smart parking assist.
