Incense is an act of stupidity

There has been great publicity recently about the dangerous content of the air we all have to breathe.

Yet although the Church of England authorities know how very damaging to the health burning incense indoors is, they continue to use it without thought to the injury it can cause to pregnant mums, babies, youngsters, people with lung and heart conditions, and the elderly.

One wonders why the Health and Safety Executive, who also have the facts. have failed to act to stop this abuse.

In the Church of England the Parochial Church Council (PCC) is supposed to sanction the use of incense for their church, and my contention is that if they were shown the known facts about the deadly particulates released when incense is burned on charcoal at about 1,000 degrees F then they would refuse to allow this act of stupidity.
