Promoted Feature College launches its first degree apprenticeship
Chichester College is offering aspiring leaders the opportunity to take their careers further with the launch of its first degree-level apprenticeship.
The college is now able to offer a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA), which will be delivered by the college and validated by The Open University.
The apprenticeship combines work with study, with graduates working towards achieving a BA (Hons) in Management Practice as well as become eligible for Chartered Manager status – the highest level that can be achieved in the management profession.
The announcement came during the recent National Apprenticeship Week, an annual celebration that brings the whole apprenticeship community together to honour the impact of apprenticeships on individuals, employers and the economy.
Shelagh Legrave OBE, chief executive of the Chichester College Group, said: “We are delighted to be delivering degree-level apprenticeships at Chichester College.
“Degree apprenticeships are a fantastic route for professionals to gain qualifications in their industry, they will be working and learning at the same time to combine academic theory with work experience.
“It’s a vital combination that will give aspiring – and current managers – a rich insight into management within their industry.
“We are in the process of developing further programmes and we hope this will be the first in a line of high-quality degree level apprenticeships to be delivered across the Chichester College Group.”
