Season of silver

It could have hardly have been a better season for the football teams who ply their trade at Oaklands Park.

Chichester City’s men’s first team have romped to the Southern Combination premier division title.

And now Chi City Ladies have won the Sussex Cup for a second time.

Boss Aaron Smith’s City ladies clinched their prize with a 1-0 win over Brighton’s development team at Lancing last Thursday courtesy of a stunning Molly Clark goal.

Four days later, on Easter Monday, it was party time for the men at Oaklands as they were presented with their league trophy.
