Daily motoring parades, Chitty and supercars for fun-filled summer at Beaulieu
See amazing cars from July 20th to September 1st and travel in time from the Victorian penny farthing to the adrenalin-fuelled world of supercars. Thrill at parades in the arena with vehicles spanning history and featuring Chitty Chitty Bang Bang from the museum’s fantasmagorical Chitty exhibition. Bring back memories with cars from the wartime era and the modern classics you will remember your family driving*
On August 3rd and 4th the spectacular Supercar Weekend will bring the collection up-to-date as some of the world’s most desirable cars unleash their horsepower on demonstration runs and super sound-offs.
In the grounds see actors perform playlets with early motoring marvels, join traditional games on the lawns, then discover what life was like ‘upstairs and downstairs’ in a Victorian country house.
Watch Lord Montagu’s falconer give demonstrations in the Abbey Cloister and talk to the costumed monk in the ruins of the Abbey.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am-3pm on August 6th - 29th, younger visitors can also get hands-on with free creative workshops in the Museum.
Summer activities are included in a general admission ticket, which includes entry to the museum, World of Top Gear, On Screen Cars, Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey and the grounds and gardens.
