Five hours and still more to see
Is Amberley Museum the most understated attraction in the county?
I have been a volunteer at the museum for many years and it no longer surprises me when visitors say what a fantastic place it is. Yesterday what did surprise me was a couple from the Isle of Wight who told me they had been there over five hours and they had yet to visit the walking stick maker, the wood turners and the Greenwood Village.
Unfortunately they had to leave to catch the train and boat back to the Isle of Wight but they said they would return to finish the visit.
What people, including local visitors do not realise is that there is 36 acres to explore and discover the many things the museum
offers. TONY TURLEY Burley Road, Felpham
