Chichester Observer

Answer is not public transport

-

We must be grateful to your correspondents Isabel Thurston, of the Chichester and Bognor Green Party, and Peter Lansley for setting out so clearly their policy of preventing motorists going about their lawful use of the highway.

“Even if electric, cars will need to be curbed” says Mr Lansley.

“Take more cars off the roads” says Ms Thurston.

Car owners be warned; you should not be voting for a Green Party candidate in future.

One of their solutions would be electric trams

– the hugely disruptive and expensive scheme in Edinburgh, which was never completed, shows what a disaster that would be.

In fact, we already have a tracked system between Southampton, Portsmouth, Brighton and London Victoria
