Calling all young fashion designers!
Goodwood invites all budding young fashion designers to research and create their perfect 1960s outfit for the chance to win tickets to the Goodwood Revival on Saturday, September 14.
This year’s Revival will celebrate the Swinging Sixties and will feature three of the four Beatles’ Minis alongside a host of actors and actresses from the Goodwood Actors Guild dressed in classic Sixties attire to entertain the sellout crowd.
Take your inspiration from Mary Quant, Twiggy, Jean Shrimpton or the Fab Four themselves.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn all about an iconic era in fashion and see it brought to life before your own eyes.
Just draw or paint your design and send it to the address below – the competition is open to under-12s only.
The winning design will be chosen by a panel of experts and recreated by the incredible seamstresses from the Goodwood wardrobe department, then modelled for the winning young designer and their family to see in person as they enjoy a day at the Revival.
There are also seven pairs of adult tickets for the runners-up (under-12s go free).
Tickets to the Revival are selling fast and Saturday has now sold out. However, tickets still remain for Friday and Sunday and can be purchased at goodwood. com/revival.
