Shops are like a social club

-

The appalling decision by William Hill to axe betting shops in certain areas will have a diverse effect on all its staff and customers in the Chichester area.

I enjoy an occasional flutter and have visited all the Chichester shops.

My main one is in Parklands and for all that time I have used the facilities I have been treated with great kindness and courtesy.

As a woman and as an old age pensioner I feel comfortable in there.

It’s like a social club and is part of the local community.

It has regular customers and we all chat to each other.

The staff are friendly, kind, willing and helpful.

To lose this shop and two others locally will be so sad.

I’m never going to have a bet on the internet so William Hill will lose my custom and I’m sure they will be the losers in the end. They have lost their goodwill.

There has been no consideration from William Hill at all. Everyone is shocked at their decisions.

On behalf of myself and I’m sure the rest of the local and loyal customers I would like to say a big thank you to their wonderful staf.

You’ve all been a big help to me in difficult matters and I appreciate the hlp I have received. Good luck to you all.
