Saddened by animal testing

I felt very saddened to recently learn that more than three-million animals including dogs, cats, rabbits and monkeys are still being used in animal experiment­s in the UK each year, according to the Home Office.

I thought, and many others do, that animal testing is banned in this country, but sadly it is still going on.

The animal welfare charity Naturewatc­h Foundation is doing all that it can to make people aware that many animals are still being subjected to cruel experiment­s that mostly end up in death all in the name of ‘science’.

It is cruelty beyond measure. When will it stop? The perpetrato­rs who continue with animal experiment­s clearly have
