Local Chichester Financial Adviser, Ian Barnett, recently swapped his briefcase for a pair of oars as he took on the 2019 Great River Race challenge.

As part of the Vintage 2019 crew from Itchenor Valley Sailing Club, Ian and his team rowed some 21.6 miles on the River Thames from Docklands to Ham. Itchenor Valley Sailing Club entered two boats in the event that saw scores of people lining the London bridges over the weekend. Ian was pleased to announce that ‘Premier Cru 2019’ also joined ‘Vintage 2019’ at the finish line.

Both rowed to raise awareness of the Place2be charity that supports children’s mental health wellbeing.
