- Selene Bracey news@chiobserver.co.uk

Barnham Primary School headteacher James Everett with Oren Hall and his classmate Lilly in the library with some of the new books Pupil Oren Hall has given his new school £100 to spend on books and sports equipment, thanks to local estate agents Sims Williams.

Oren’s mum and dad, Chris and Karly Hall used Sims Williams in Walberton to sell their old home and buy their new house, earning them £100 in vouchers to buy books and equipment for Oren’s school, Barnham Primary School.

Barnham Primary School was one of the first schools to sign up to the Sims Williams Schools Offer scheme and Oren, aged 4, who started in September, was delighted to present the money to head teacher James Everett.

Independent estate agent Sims Williams is donating £100 for every sale and property rental it achieves through partnerships with local primary schools from across the Observer area.

Every time a parent, teacher, member of staff or resident mentions their local participating school whilst selling or letting their property with Sims Williams, the estate agent will donate £100 on completion.

Any school wishing to take part in the scheme should contact their nearest Sims Williams office or visit the website www.simswilliams. co.uk for more information.
