Baker triumphs on Butser for 12th time

Chichester ace James Baker is celebrating a delightful dozen wins in the Butser Hill Run.
He finished the tough fell run well ahead of nearest rival James Chettle.
Afterwards he said: “The last people to beat me on this course were Andy Vernon and Tim Watson back in 2003.
“It’s a proper trophy for the run, engraved with the winners since 1978. There are some star names on there including Olympians Tom Buckner and Vernon.” James Baker after his eighth Butser win – now it’s 12
