‘Aspiration, Innovation, Motivation’

-

What a wonderful first week it has been! I have been welcomed so warmly at Bourne by staff, parents and students. It has been a real pleasure getting to know everyone and getting stuck into the new term. I have a year 7 tutor group and so together we are finding our feet and I am most excited to be going to Fort Purbrook with them in October. A superb opportunity to get to know them more. Mrs Jakob,

Teacher of Humanities What a fantastic school! Having only worked at The Bourne for two weeks, I already feel part of the Bourne family. All the students have been so welcoming and friendly and it has been a delight to meet our new Year 7s as they embark on their Secondary school journey.

As Leader of English, I have been delighted to delve into the wonderful imaginations of our young people and I can foresee some amazing stories in the making.

I am looking forward to seeing our young people flourish and achieve their full potential. Mrs K Hutchins, Leader of English I have loved my first week at The Bourne. It’s busy, the teachers are nice, and I have enjoyed meeting new people, making new friends and having more responsibility.”

Kyle, Year 7 Student “I like the new surroundings, new friends and new beginnings.” Zuki, Year 7 Student
