Festival of Learning

At the beginning of lockdown, there were many events cancelled and my heart broke a little more with each one. One of these things was an event I’d worked very hard to pull together and those involved were very much looking forward to.

I have coordinated the speakers for the Festival of Learning at Chichester College for many years and this year we had a full programme of free talks to be presented on the college grounds.

The Festival of Learning is part of a national event and a celebration of lifelong learning and further education, and I showcase local business people who embrace the opportunity to share their areas of expertise.

So, thinking it was all over for 2020 because of the pandemic, I was elated to get an email from the college to ask if I wanted to resurrect the event and take it online!

With only a few days to pull it back together, I swiftly contacted the speakers and revised the schedule and content, and hey presto, it’s back!

Information will be available on the Chichester College website shortly and we all welcome you to our online presentations. Some will be live Q&AS, some will be pre-recorded and some will be Zoom meetings, so do look out for more news soon at www. chichester.ac.uk
