Art
The Focus Group of photographers are forced online this year for their Chichester exhibition.
Spokesman John
Bradshaw said: “Founded almost 15 years ago, the Focus Group comprises eight photographers with a wide diversity of photographic interests. These include classic landscapes, streetscapes and documentary work together with collages, close-ups of plants, oversize prints, travel images and more.
“The group spends two weeks together each year in different parts of the
UK to explore the local photographic possibilities. Recent locations include various parts of Scotland, the Lake District, Snowdonia, the post-industrial areas of the north of England and the
Potteries. This also allows is to work closely, sharing experiences and ideas, to develop new and innovative approaches and also to plan future projects and develop a programme of exhibitions.”
Currently the group holds a major exhibition of their work in Chichester’s Assembly Room each year, attended by around 1,000 photographers and others from across the south-east of England.
“Unfortunately, this year the epidemic has prevented us from holding our 2020 exhibition. However, we have compiled an exciting and extensive online exhibition which we hope you will enjoy.
