Stagecoach’s services will take you to the heart of the most popular coastal towns and cities in the south. Here is the bus company’s top days out in the south:

Take a trip to Portsmouth

Why not take the family and immerse yourself in Royal Navy history. Incredible museums, legendary ships and new visitor experience­s are all waiting to be discovered at Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard.

Gourmet at Gunwharf

Whether it’s a family celebratio­n, meeting up with friends or grabbing a light lunch between shopping, hop on the bus to discover tasty dining from breakfast through to dinner, and everything in between.

If you’re travelling after 7pm Stagecoach has a handy Nightrider ticket available for just £2.50 and is valid for unlimited evening travel across the entire Stagecoach South network.

Along the coast

The Coastliner 700 bus service is up to every 20 minutes from Chichester towards Portsmouth. Buses stop at The Hard Interchang­e in Portsmouth just a short walk away from both the Historic Dockyard and Gunwharf Quays. Or you can travel by bus from Chichester to Bognor Regis; or Littlehamp­ton to Worthing and Brighton, as well as The Witterings and Selsey from Chichester, for some great seaside fun on the beach!

Stagecoach said it also has extra safety measures in place to help everyone travel wi confi et s summer.

With regular cleaning of all touch points, windows are kept open to help increase ventilatio­n onboard, and

ace mask emain compulsory unless you’re medically exempt. Drivers are also encouragin­g contactles­s payment, or exact change when possible. If you download the Stagecoach bus app, you can even use the busy bus feature. It shows you which buses have more space available on board. This can help if you’d prefer to travel at quieter times during the day, you can choose to avoid those busier services.
