Farmers’ markets

We are lucky enough in this area to be served by a number of farmers’ markets where local producers sell their wares. Here’s all you need to know:

Chichester Farmers’ Market

Local producers of fine food and drink display their wares in the city centre.

This market takes place on the first and third Friday of each month, between 9am and 2pm.

It’s usually on North Street and East Street, Chichester, but has been temporaril­y moved to the Cattle Market to help with social distancing.

Midhurst Market

This is a new market starting this weekend and will now take place every Saturday from 8.30am to 3.30pm in Market Square, with artisan food available to buy from local producers.

Petworth Town Council Farmers’ Market

Local farmers sell their food and plants from 9am to 1pm on every fourth Saturday of the month at Pound Street Car Park. The next one takes place on July 24.

Arundel Farmers’ Market

Visit Arundel Farmers Market on the third Saturday of every month, 9 am to 1pm, for fine British food and artisans produce.

To allow for social distancing the Arundel Farmers’ Market will be spread out over three locations; The High Street Cobbles, Jubilee Gardens and the Town Quay.

Felpham Farmers’ Market

Takes place on the second Saturday of every month, with the next one on Saturday, July 10, between 9.30am and 1pm at Felpham Memorial Village Hall.

Here you will find fresh, fabulous, local produce, flowers and more.
