Crablands ladies Green team had a great week gaining six points in each of two home games in the GSM League Division 2.
Scores v Storrington (home) 54-29 (six points): Lesley Duff, Sheila Plaistow, Val Foyle and Sue Blyth won 28-12; Elaine Sadler, Gill Oliver, Joan Adams and Mollie Back won 26-17. v Maltravers (home) 52-26 (six points): Elaine Sadler, Gill Oliver, Joan Adams and Mollie Back won 25-10; Lesley Duff, Anita Colliety, Val Foyle and Sue Blyth won 27-16.
In the Ladies’ Double Rink Countycompetition,mixedfortunes against Norfolk Ladies meant Crablands progressed to the next round.

In the Midhurst Cup Crablands beat Witterings. Scores: Home - Chris Lewendon, Val Foyle and Ian Ford won 19-16; Elaine Sadler, Lew Lewendon, Carol Bowles lost 12-13; Away - Dave Evans, Nigel Crump, Jean Hole won 19-8; Richard Green, John Cornwell, Tony Dade lost 17-18.
In a friendly v Bognor, Crablands Ladies won 27-21 in a match cut short when high winds caused a Bognor bowler to be blown over.
