Early bird tickets now live for Moonlight Walk

Stride out under the stars in September for a walk to remember with St Wilfrid’s Hospice Moonlight Walk 2022. This year is the 35th anniversary of St Wilfrid’s Hospice and the Moonlight Walk Week is an incredible way to show your support for this local charity providing such expert care and compassion to patients and their loved ones facing terminal illness.

The official Moonlight Walk Week will be September 3-10 and there are three ways to join in:

n Walk your own Moonlight Walk! Choose your own time and special route with the Virtual Moonlight

Walk. Complete your five or ten miles anytime between September 3-10 and connect with us on social media.

n Join in the Moonlight Walk evening event on September 10 for our familiar five or ten-mile routes through Chichester, including the new celebration and remembrance stations.

n Volunteer to support the evening event on September 10 and help make this year really special for all those walking in memory of loved ones.

Pamela Fitzsimmons, who volunteered last year, said: “The evening was a pleasure from start to finish. The setup was amazing with lovely well organised staff. I knew quite a lot of the walkers, many that had lost a loved one at the hospice. They all though it was such a very special night and something they will never forget. Put me down for next year!”

Everyone taking part will get a finisher medal to celebrate 35 years of St Wilfrid’s Hospice care, and individual fundraisers will again have the opportunity to earn ‘Super star walker’ status and receive a special hoodie if they can raise over £250.
