Turning a blind eye...

-

That was a wonderful piece on page 3 of the Midhurst Observer last week regarding Harvey Tordoff and the choice to die when you feel like it.

In my opinion it should not be a crime, but a choice we should all be able to choose should we so desire at any time in our lives.

Animals are painlessly and peacefully put to death by the veterinary surgeons

We should have that opportunity to die peacefully with an injection, not orally as in Dignitas in Switzerland.

We really get over the hurdle of ‘unscrupulous relatives’ etc. and offer each other this humane way of ending our lives when we want to.

Parliament has turned a blind eye to the enormous amount of pain and suffering many people face. We must try and change this law.
