Walkers’ fundraising could be doubled

- Gemma Carden

Take part in the St Wilfrid’s Hospice Moonlight Walk this June and your fundraising could be doubled! Our always-popular Moonlight Walk returns on Saturday 15th June at Chichester College. Join hundreds of other walkers taking part in a walk to remember under the stars around Chichester, in-memory of loved ones and supporting their local hospice.

We are excited that once again for 2024, an incredibly kind, local anonymous sponsor has pledged to match all donations up to £50,000 for our Moonlight Walkers!

This means that every pound you raise to support St Wilfrid’s Hospice vital work will be doubled for the first £50,000 of fundraising.

You can choose between our 5 or 10-mile route, and both routes take walkers around Chichester, with special stops at the Guildhall in Priory Park where there is an in-memory archway to remember loved ones, and a stop at Bishop’s Palace Gardens.

The event is family friendly and is a fabulous night, whether you’re walking in-memory or just walking for fun!

If you can’t make the 15th June, you can also take part in the ‘Moonlight Walk Your Way’ during the month of June.

Any fundraising you decide to take part in will help us provide specialist and compassionate endof-life care to your local community.

It costs over £26,000 a day to deliver our vital services, so we thank you in advance for supporting your local hospice.

Secure your place before Monday 10th June at stwh.co.uk/moonlight, or please do contact the fundraising team on 01243 775302 or fundraising@stwh.co.uk if you have any questions.

The Moonlight Walk is proudly sponsored by Henry Adams.
