Texas Car Wars

Four Texas-based restoration garages compete at wrecking yard auctions to win cars they can restore or hot-rod, then sell on for that episode’s biggest profit. They can examine the cars but not attempt to start them. The cars involved are usually classic American machinery but occasionally there’s a modern Japanese or European car. Be warned that the questionable short cuts and final appearances of the builds will likely have you shouting at the TV.

It spawned a spin-off called Dallas Car Sharks that managed to be worse in every respect.
