Classic American

WHERE TO NOW?

- Ben Klemenzson, editor bklemenzson@mortons.co.uk

Well, what a strange fewmonths it’s been! I think we can all agree that this has been a time none of us has ever experienced the likes of before (unless you remember the Second World War!) and probably one which we don’t ever care to experience again! Still, it’s always good to try and turn negatives into positives and I’m pretty sure if and when car shows get going again next year, I will embrace them with relish and enjoy them immensely… a bit like that cold drink after a long run or walk in the boiling heat.

The organisers of the Classic Motor Show which is scheduled to be held over the weekend of November 13-15 are still planning to go ahead with the event and Classic American will be having a stand there; however, we recommend that readers check with the Classic American website (www. classic-american.com) or see the Classic American Facebook page for the most up-to-date information on events.

This month’s magazine has a TV and film theme; some you’ll be familiar with, others maybe not so much. However, it’s something we read time and time again in this publication: how people got turned on to American cars at an early age through exposure to them on TV or film. Finally, if you’ve undertaken or are nearing the completion of a long-term restoration on your American vehicle and you’ve documented it fully from the start with decent high-resolution digital photography, why not get in touch? We’re always looking for inspirational stories of restoration and resurrection to share with our readers!
