Bullet carnauba spray wax and protector
RRP of £15.25 + p&p. Order online at www.bulletpolish.co.uk
Probably the key thing to note with this product is ‘carnauba’… that was certainly the thing that first caught our attention, as this is of course the wax from the Copernicia prunifera palm from Brazil and which is highly regarded as not only a natural ingredient, but also the world’s hardest wax. Often seen as an ingredient in some of the world’s most expensive and exclusive car care products, it’s certainly interesting to see it marketed as a ‘quick detailing spray’.
The kit comprises a 500ml bottle with spray nozzle of the carnauba wax and two micro-fibre cloths, one for spreading the polish once it’s been sprayed (about 2ft2 at a time) and the other for buffing up. The manufacturers claim that it won’t cause smears or white residue, which is something we can confirm and that it doesn’t contain chemicals like silicone, alcohol, PTFE or other harsh chemicals.

Ease of use: Effectiveness: Value for money: Overall:
Using the kit is pretty straightforward and quite quick to use, although as we all know, you have to put in the time for good results with anything, not just car valeting or detailing. We spent an hour and it buffed the Classic American Jeep up very nicely! One attractive aspect to this product is that the manufacturers claim that the more coats you apply, the shinier your vehicle will appear.
Not only that, this product can be used on caravans, boats, motorcycles… Just about anything in fact and it can also apparently be used on other surfaces such as plastic, glass, chrome, carbon fibre and so on, although for our purposes, we’re just using it on paint. It did rain shortly after we applied the polish and we can confirm that there was a lot of water beading going on, so job done – and only in about 60 minutes!
