I’ve been a fan of Ed ‘Big Daddy’ Roth for many years and his cartoon rodent, the nemesis of Disney’s Mickey Mouse, Rat Fink. It appears that Round 2, under its AMT banner, now produces a sheet of Rat Fink waterslide decals. Round 2 has been clever in resurrecting a range of specialist decals which reminds the older modellers of those produced by AMT back in the Sixties. Round 2 had already brought back the popular Custom & Competition Parts Packs, so the decal sheets were a natural follow-up.

Also available are Road Racing Graphics, including racing stripes and white circles for numbers, Fantastic Flames and advertising selections, including Texaco Oil, Coca Cola and Hostess Cakes Trucking Decals, but the Rat Fink ones are sure to be the most popular, as they can adorn all manner of custom vehicles, motorcycles and dioramas. The sheet includes RF himself in several poses, plus a wide selection of Ed Roth signatures, slogans, Roth’s famous top hat, monsters and pinstripes. They are widely advertised online and retail at around $10 a sheet. They may be imported in due course, but if not, as printed matter, they should legally avoid the import charges and taxes.
