Packards revisited (revisited)
Dear Classic American,
Thank you for printing my letter in the November issue of the magazine, ‘Packards revisited’.
I hope to find out some more history of my Packard; however the lady owner was Violet ScriVner Roskell, not ScriUner… probably my bad handwriting, but thank you again! Packards are mighty cars, even when derelict. They had many different fates: hearses, breakdown trucks, even stock cars and they were so heavy, scrap yards were always interested. Even in death they were mighty looking cars…

You’re quite right of course, our contributor Zack Stiling found an image of a Packard that was ending its days in London as a tow truck. We’d still like to find out some more information about Violet Scrivner Roskell’s Packard which Richard now owns. Anyone out there recognise the car or know anything about it?!
