ISLE OF WIGHT INTERNATIO­NAL CHARITY CLASSIC EXTRAVAGAN­ZA

11am to 5.30pm Ryde Esplanade North Walk, Isle of Wight. For more than two decades this show has grown into a massive internatio­nal event attracting every imaginable type of classic, retro and historic vehicle from all over mainland Britain, Europe and beyond. In all, some 1000 stunning examples will adorn the entire mile-long Ryde Esplanade, making it one of the island’s premier attraction­s. With free entry to the public, the show is held in support of the Isle of Wight Round Table and Mountbatte­n Hospice. Deuce Day will be celebratin­g 90 years of the iconic 1932 Ford on Sunday September 4 at Brooklands Museum. There will be a dedicated display of Deuces, organised by Facebook Group Deuces of Britain, as part of Brooklands Museum American Day event. American Day is a highly popular and successful annual event dedicated to stars and stripes and the display of 1932 Fords will be an added bonus this year. The aim is to gather the largest display of Deuces ever seen in the UK. Although primarily focused around hot rods, all Fords of the marque are welcome, whether they are hot rods, restored originals, steel or ‘glass replicas. PETROLHEAD­ONISM LIVE

This year’s Petrolhead­onism LIVE is gearing up to be even bigger and better than last year’s. Taking place over the weekend of September 24-25 at Knebworth House featuring guest of honour Richard Rawlings of Gas Monkey Garage and Rob ‘Rabbit’ Pitts, Tavarish and Shmee150 all confirmed, as well as many other guest judges.

Rob Pitts is known as The eBay Outlaw and is best known from Rabbit’s Used Cars and as the host of the Hot Rods and Happy Hour Show and will be flying in from Greenville, South Carolina to Knebworth this September for the event. Rob will be interactin­g with guests all weekend long, as well as appearing on stage being interviewe­d about everything – find out why he was the first person to be banned for life from eBay! Rob is also a guest judge of the Elite Class competitio­n.

Also appearing is Freddie ‘Tavarish’ Hernandez, who is a New Jersey-based automotive YouTuber with 2.16m subscriber­s who makes videos about buying, modifying, and breaking cars – from buying a salvage McLaren 675LT and rebuilding it to factory standards to hosting Car Trek with Ed Bolian and Tyler Hoover and will be a huge draw for the second Annual Petrolhead­onism Live!
