THE NEW METEOR HITS BRITAIN
THE NEW Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is arriving at British dealers this this month. The Meteor is a cruiser-styled single and comes in three different models, starting at £3,749 otr for the baseline Fireball. The all-new machine has a 20bhp SOHC engine featuring oil/air cooling and a balancer, a spine frame, twin shocks at the rear and conventional forks at the front. Equipment includes Royal Enfield’s turn-by-turn Tripper sat nav system as standard, a feet-forward riding position and a wide, comfortable seat. A range of accessories are also on offer for you to personalise the model. The softly-tuned Meteor has a top speed of 73mph, and the factory claims miserly fuel consumption of more than 100 mpg. Accompanying the Fireball is the Stellar at £3,829, with a more restrained paint scheme and back rest, and the Supernova – the top-spec model that comes with two-tone paint, a back rest and screen at £3,909. Demonstration bikes are now in dealerships, and orders are being accepted for the new single, which looks set to emulate the success of the company’s 650 cc Interceptor and Continental GT models.
