Fancy a day out?

Good lord, is it autumn already? Well, not quite, but the nights are drawing in, so we should all make the most of it. September is packed with bike events and there is something for everyone. Watch out for damp patches and fallen leaves – but at least the tourists who stayed here clogging the roads because they couldn't go to Malaga have gone home. The usual caveats apply: please be aware that these listings are accurate as we go to press, but all events are subject to change and/or cancellation. We recommend checking with the organisers before packing your spanners, waterproofs, Kendal Mint Cake and iron rations. Have fun! And don't forget to let us know about your own events.
