Cool T-shirt for great cause

The charity Alfie’s All-Stars is delighted to bring you these stunning T-shirts celebrating the forthcoming documentary SpeedisExpensive, about speed records of Vincent-HRD motorcycles and Avon Tyres.

The design, by Lisa at ljhdesign is printed on soft cotton. Each T-shirt is individually wrapped and available from size S to XXL at £20 each. Postage in the UK is £2.50 per shirt, with all profits going to the charities supported by Alfie’s All-Stars. They can be ordered from alfiesallstars@outlook.com

Eight-year-old Alfie Smith has Down’s syndrome and was diagnosed with leukaemia in February 2020. Alfie’s dad, Steve, works for Avon Tyres, supplying racing tyres to bike and sidecar racers around the world. Avon has supported Steve over the years, helping to raise thousands of pounds for Down’s syndrome charities. When Alfie was diagnosed with leukaemia, it was time to start Alfie’s All-Stars and support the work of other charities now vital in the youngter’s life. With help from friends, more than £10,000 has been raised since 2020 for the Down’s Syndrome Association, Young Lives vs Cancer, and the Bristol Children’s Hospital. After a rollercoaster 18 months, Alfie is making a good recovery and will hopefully be given the all-clear in April 2022. Charities have had it tough during the pandemic, so the money raised from the sale of the T-shirts will help out.
