WHAT THEY ALL HAVE IN COMMON
All Bonnevilles are expensive when compared to rival modernstyled naked bikes, but look at how well they keep their price. A classicallystyled rival to consider is Royal Enfield, with its Interceptor 650. Quality is not as good as Triumph, but at just over £6000 on the road, meaning a Triumph will cost you at least £2400 more; it’s a head or heart decision only you can answer. Others are Kawasaki’s W800 and new W650RS, Moto Guzzi’s V7 and V11 and Ducati Scrambler at a push, all of which are similar prices, weights and power, and offer a similar experience. The Thruxtons live in another world, both price and performancewise, but it’s a bike that, if you want it, little else will do.
