Alright, I was wrong – there is a reason behind all the bikes in the range. The 900cc bikes, the Street Twin, T100 and Street Scrambler are so easy and forgiving to ride, and there’s a smile on your face all of the time. As well as being cheaper, they are lower and significantly lighter thanks to a lighter engine and smaller chassis, boosting confidence. Though Maria was happy riding the larger bikes like the T120, she felt much more comfortable on the 900s, with a firmer foot and less to hold. Butch is taller but felt the same; enough performance, good looks, but more relaxing to ride thanks to less weight. I too preferred the 900cc bikes – they make more sense. The 1200s offer more but cost more. Do you need it? You have to be sure you know what you want to justify, but if you do – especially the sporty models – I doubt you regret it.
