Rocking out with the DGR

-

Those with an occasional penchant for tweed and carefully sculpted facial hair need to start getting dapper – the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is coming on May 22. Since being launched in 2012, the event has previously run on the last Sunday of September.

Riders will head out into the unpredictable spring weather in unsuitable clothing to raise funds and awareness of prostate cancer and men’s mental health. This year, the organisers are eager to get more of us back on the road to ride in a ‘Distinguished’ fashion in towns and cities around the UK and across the world.

As an added incentive to raise as much cash as possible for DGR charities, there’s a chance for the person who raises the most to win not just a custom-built Triumph Bonneville, but also very special 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard Reissue with Triumph branding in sunburst gold.

The guitar and the bike feature a host of beautiful hand-detailed custom touches, designed and applied in Triumph’s factory workshop. Together, these will be offered as the highest fundraiser reward for the 2022 ride.

The one-of-a-kind prize package comes complete with a certificate of authenticity, signed by Triumph CEO Nick Bloor and Cesar Gueikian, brand president of Gibson Brands. To pre-register, visit www.gentlemansride.com
