What is DocBike?

DocBike is a charity combining consultant-level doctors or critical care paramedics with two wheels, who work with emergency services to provide roadside critical care.

DocBike also helps bikers become more skilful, reducing the risk of being involved in a crash.

DocBike and Bournemouth University work together to match-fund the PhD studentship, so they can use evidence and research when engaging with motorcyclists at public events and present findings to bodies such as the Department of Transport and Highways England.

This partnership will hopefully bring significant benefit to all motorcyclists throughout the UK.
