Return of Hesketh

-

The Hesketh name is back on a bike tank. Hesketh is coming back with a brand-new model that is nothing like the mighty behemoths of the past and is expected to be a far more affordable example. Full details are anticipated soon, and a series of carefully configured photographs of the Heresy have been released.

The Hesketh Heresy uses a four valve 450cc air-cooled single engine, a reworked-under-licence version of a Honda XR400 motocross powerplant. It appears to have a curvy trellis/ cradle frame and a highly radical rear suspension set-up which is half traditional, half cantilever.

The finish also looks good, and the tank bears the original Hesketh coat of arms, as well as a proudly displayed ‘Made in England’ sticker on the frame tubes. The bikes are being made in Redhill, Surrey. Prices and tech specs are yet to be released.

We hope to get our hands on a Heresy soon, so watch this space.
