KH (Fieldmaster)
498cc ohv twin || 390lb 65mpg || 90mph || 1948-58
A sweet touring twin with a motor unique to the model utilising two chain-driven cams, an unusual pushrod arrangement and a one-piece crankshaft. The plot was fitted into standard Ariel single cycle parts. The low production numbers mean engine spares can be hard to find, and the bikes are quite a rare sight these days. The 1953-only all-alloy KHA is the rarest and will cost more. Available with rigid, Anstey link plunger, or swinging arm frames.
Prices: low £4500 || high £7500
