New Showroom for Somerset Classic Motorcycles
We were pleased to be invited to the official opening this month of the new showroom for friends of this magazine, Somerset Classic Motorcycles.
The showroom at Ashill, near Ilminster, Somerset, is three times the size of the old premises next door.
Andy and Mark at
Somerset Classic Motorcycles import dozens of sought-after and unusual classics on a monthly basis, concentrating on complete Japanese bikes from the 1970s and 1980s imported from the USA and Canada.
Plenty of guests turned out on a soggy Sunday for the celebrations, hosted by the legend that is Steve Parrish, who told hilarious tales and chatted with guests.
The opening also featured the showroom’s new coffee bar, with as fine a selection of cakes and pastries as you could wish for.
So, if you are looking for a stop-off, why not pop in for coffee, a slice of cake, and check out their ever-changing stock of bikes?
The premises is now open seven days a week, from 8.303pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and 8.30am5pm the rest of the week.
You can find them at Unit G, Forest Enterprise Park, Wood Road, Ashill TA19 9LP or visit somersetclassicmotorcycles. co.uk
